I can not make it keep my location as my local.. it will reset every time..

no I never had this issue with the "old" Yahoo..
AND it shows my local Boise stuff in the "headlines"

Don recently had problems with yahoo and got so angry he started using gmail. I think it was gmail.......

I never use Yahoo for local info, so can't help you there, Santa.. But it does get annoying for that pop up to add 'Contacts' all the time. Otherwise I have no issues with Yahoo Mail.

I have 3 yahoo accounts.....1 for work 1 for friends and 1 for other stuff (travel , banking , things like that)

I still use Yahoo at work and it keeps my local setting just fine.
Sorry I know that doesn't help much.

I was having the same problem but it finally started working within the last week or so.

Have you tried clearing the cache or deleting your temporary internet files?

yep..

They keep putting a notice on my Yahoo home page to download a new Yahoo but I ain't doing it.

about a month ago, yahoo forced the new style on me, but they also provided a link to go back to the old style. i went back, and now in the upper left corner they have a link to go to the new style. sooner or later, they will not give you a choice.
