It's been the site of hydroplane races, regattas, and concerts but has fallen on hard times and disrepair. But the movement to restore and re-open Miami Marine Stadium got a big boost when Jimmy Buffett has joined the cause to restore the Marine Stadium.

I just drove by there a couple of weeks ago, I had no Idea where it actually was. Drove past it many times on Key Biscayne but never paid attention.

Well I hope he plays some at Margaritaville Casino and meets me half way a few times a year!!

Jimmy certainly could afford to not only fix it up but just buy it outright.
