I'm trying to plan a Citywalk trip in hope that MAYBE JB will show up around the CD release date! Any ideas?

The history of Mr Buffett announcing releases and then delaying releases is fairly common. There's no way to determine exactly when something will be released. Tomorrow he could announce a November release but come November it won't be released. Sorry that's just how it's been for the past few years with books and cd's and this year it started with concerts.

The last I heard the new CD is supposed to be out some time in December.

I would strongly advise you not to plan a trip to City walk around any rumors of the possibility that Buffett may show up. Plan a trip to City Walk with the idea of just having a good time, and don't Expect Jimmy to show up. It will be a pleasant surprise for you if he happens to show up.
