Vic Mizzy earlier this week and now Soupy Sales.
When death arrives for people that entertained me when I was a little moogy...kind of makes me think. "Holy crap. I'm past the midway point"

OH NO !!!!
Talk about a childhood icon! I remember he got in hot water for telling kids to "go get that green paper from you mommy's purse and send it to me"
I loved White Fang and Black Tooth!

Soupy must live near here. He does a bunch of locaql events. Every year, including this past spring he was the emcee of the dooodah parade. After this he would have a pie throwing event and there would be bunches of people lined up to have him put pies in their face. The ast couple of years he has not looked well and it doesn't really surprise me. Sail on Soupy.

I'm a little younger than some of you....so my recollection of him was " and I'll take Soupy Sales for the block".....yeah, on Hollywood Squares with John Davidson.

There was another thread recently that mentioned Todd Rundgren. Soupy's sons Hunt and Tony were in Todd's band years ago.

They were also in Bowie's "Tin Machine" band and provided rhythm for Iggy Pop's "Lust for Life" album.
