Great Buffett Story from Charlottesville

Just thought I would share a little story from last night Buffett show at Charlottesville.

This was my five year old daughter’s first concert (her name is Delaney of course). I was able to score 4th row center tickets for us (wife, daughter and I).

Great show, Jimmy sounded excellent!

I made a t-shirt which said “My name is DELANEY” and Jimmy pointed to her several times, smiled and waved at her. She was VERY excited…

During the instrumental part of Margaritaville, Jimmy walks over, pulls off one of his wrist bands and throws it right to my wife and daughter. The RUDE JERK next to us reaches in front of my wife and grabs it. He then proceeds to give his son!

I was NONE TO PLEASED! Fortunately Jimmy saw this. At the end of Margaritaville, he walks to the edge of the stage, pulls off his remaining wrist band. He leans down to the security guy in front of the stage and says (I could hear him) “Give this to that little girl right there!” So Delaney did end up with a wristband directly from Jimmy!

The guy next to my wife did end up apologizing, but I and still a little ticked about his unbelievable rudeness!

Jimmy definitely has some class that’s for sure!
