We (Nashville Parrothead club Music City PHiNs) got 20 invites 5 days before the show. We got standing room only tickets on the 2nd floor with a lovely view of the lights, rigging and backs of band member heads.
Sorry...somebody on the PHIP email said you all had 40 tickets ! Wow....sounds like they didn't do ALL Parrotheads right.
Wonder how many tickets the Zac Brown Band fan clubs got.

Jimmy 'passed the torch' too soon. Like the baton in a relay race, you don't pass it until it is time for you to give it up...because once you give it up, you are supposed to stop running.
Nothing against Zac Brown, or Kenny Chesney either, for that matter. But until the day comes when Jimmy parks the tour buses, breaks up the Reefers, hangs up the guitars, and kicks back to do nothing but count his money, then — like it or not — he is the torchbearer.
As far as I am concerned
(and this may sound a little morbid) I would just as soon see Jimmy continue to 'carry the torch' until it drops from his lifeless fingers. At that time, the heir apparent will take up the torch and reveal himself. Might be Kenny; might be Zac; might even be the Boat Drunks.
And it might be someone who crops up in the next year or two that we have yet to hear of.

had an out house. Her address was Lula Mae Goosetree, Rt 2, Franklin TN. (Not even a Box #.)

I agree I think there is room for all of the TropRock bands. One of my favorite TropRock singers is Brent Burns. He has some good stuff and so does Howard Livingston and the Mile Marker 24 band.

I too like Brent's music. I bought an album of his years ago (Livin' The Life). I did not pay much attention for a few years but I just found & downloaded a bunch of his stuff on amazon a few days ago.

yeah, he did that for the ESPN interview. From their reaction I didn't think they thought he was being serious though!
