I was kind of expecting a bigger crowd response when they went into Mystic. I would have been going crazy. Maybe the response was there and I just missed it. Did notice the response a little farther into it, but thought it would've been right away. Awesome show. Wish I knew more BN'ers by sight so I could've been even more jealous if they made it on camera. Wonder if the entire show will make it to DVD? Love to see every song.

I wish---our cable company picked GAC instead of CMT

Not sure I understand your post - this was on CMT not GAC. I think it runs again at midnight ET.

There probably is other material that didn't make TV so I'll want to get the DVD too. I agree - you couldn't see how much the crowd was into it....they really drummed the crowd sound out.

I imagine the crowd was probably very much into every moment of the show, so it probably was mixed to focus more on the performance than the audience. Guess I'm just spoiled from the RM concert broadcasts. Seems you can almost feel the energy from the crowd when you listen to those. The crowd feeds on itself as well as from Jimmy, and Jimmy and the Reefers pull it all in and create the magic. Just reminds me how fortunate I am to be a part of it all, and how awesome it is to have so many great people to share it with.

We had 70+ people at our 'pot luck dinner/watching party' this evening. Everybody seemed to think it was a great show.

Very awesome show! "Free"- "Mystic" is easily one of my favorites. It is going to be on again at 01:00 a.m. EST, and hopefully, I set the time on the VCR correctly to record it. Yes, I am one of the few people in the world that does not have a DVR yet, very sad!

Since I saw ZBB the first time, I have been hoping JB would do Toes, Where the boat leaves from, or Free/Mystic!
Or better yet....A surprise apperance from Zach at one of the JB shows where I happen to be!
AGREE...AWESOME SHOW!!

That was a real 60 minute experience! The exchange between the two of them seemed as warm as the music. I have to say I haven't really seen anything lately that was as compelling as this show. Even Mac appeared to be impressed with the actual music exchange between the two bands, a lot of respect being shared. Jimmy's own Bio, would reflect his Life was built around having his "toes in the water and ass in the sand". I have had ZBB CD for a long time and it already reminded me of Jimmy, but after last night, I know I am going to listen to A1A today for sure. Music can be SWEET and so it was last night!

And a very warm post. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
I am so impressed with Zac Brown. I have never seen his show, but I sure like what I read about his musical life and what I saw during this CMT show. This is one of the best blendings of voices, bands, personalities, etc. I have ever seen. WOW, Jimmy sure picked a great talent to pass the TIKI TORCH to.
