I agree with the blending of the bands each seemed to be engulfed in the moment, especially the tropical parts for Zac they seemed to all enjoy the fullness of the sound, I know I did that is for certain.

Great show !

I had never listened to Zac Brown but am buying his music today.
That boy can sing LOL

I am going to Alpine this year for Jimmy, one more time LOL, the first time at Alpine for JB was August of 1990, 2 weeks before Stevie Ray's tragic accident there and I think Zac Brown is playing there with Dave Matthews for 2 shows this July
I am not a big DM fan, but it may be worth the trip just to see Zac

Anyway it was great to see them on stage together.
I remember when JB always had openers , and some great ones by the way.

There are several Crossroads DVDs for sale on the CMT site but I don't see all shows listed. The Taylor Swift / Def Leppard Crossroads DVD has some bonus video which was not shown in the original broadcast show. I hope the Buffett/Brown DVD is released with bonus stuph.
Maybe CMT needs some "encouragement" emails asking for a 2-hour DVD of the show with behind the scenes stuph, out-takes, etc?

To do this show justice, it would need to be a three disc set. The first disc should be the broadcast show and interviews, the second should be the full concert and the third should be out takes and rehearsals.

I would go watch Zac and then head out to beat the rush when the Dull Mathews Band takes the stage.

Done! I recorded the show, but I know that I will wear the tape out. I had to watch it again this morning while killing a pot of coffee.

Amazing show! The harmonies were fantastic and both seemed comfortable with each other's music. They seem to have so much fun together!

I am seeing lots of folks here who haven't seen Zach or know much about him. I am no ZBB expert, but I saw him live several months ago and was hooked! He has a great bunch of real musicians with him. Probably why you can tell Mac was enjoying the show!!
If you want to hear Zac at his best...go on youtube and look for Zac doing Devil went down to Georgia. Listen to the end, because his ending is great!!
After their concerts the entire band stays and signs autographs until everyone waiting has one!! They are really taking a grass roots aproach with things. Even Eat and Greats before the shows!!
I, like many I think, wish the beard and stocking cap would go! I think that image is a little hard for most p'headers to adopt!

Fantastic!! I about melted hearing A Pirate Looks At Forty.....Free/Mystic.....ahhhh loved it. They sure looked like they had a good time.

The whole show was awesome. I'm so glad some of you got to see it first hand. A real treasure for sure.

I also really like Zac Brown Band and look forward to hearing more from them.

I brainfarted and missed it last night. What I've seen so far online I like. While doing Zack's songs I get the impression that Jimmy was trying not to blow the lyrics. Great job! As for Mystic, I've never even heard of the song but I like it. Now to find out when it reruns so I can dvr it and throw it on cd and dvd.
