Not much of a Country music fan, so didn't see that performance orginally. Just watched it and WOW! Great guitar by Zac. But you gotta give PROPS to the violinist too!!
Don't stop with that one...
He has a sound that goes beyond country. I saw a Summer Jam concert in STL back in the mid 80's that featured Foghat, CDB, abd the Beach Boys! To me ZBB is that show rolled up into one!
Listen to the song "Who knows" from the live from Bonnaroo cd. Makes me think I am hearing Whipping Post (Allman Brothers) all over agin!!!
I have been trying to tout ZBB on this site for a while now and I am doing the same for JB on ZBB's site!
I want to go back down and lie beside the sea there.

Fill it up with good red wine...or Rose, as Jimmy said!!!
One more thing...
I am a card carying member of the ZBB Fan Club and mentioned Buffettnews on one of their forums...
Now the ZBB Fans are going to CMT and requesting a DVD of the Crossroads taping also!! Power in numbers!

The end of "Chicken Fried" - wow!
wJs!!!!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
J. D. on RM just asked what Zac Brown Band followers/fans are called. Has anyone ever heard a reference to them ... I like toe-heads. (with its own special meaning...) http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-a-toe-head.htm Sometimes the unruly quality of a young blond's hair may also earn him the honor of being called a toe head, or tow-headed.
Certain fibrous plants such as flax or hemp can be woven into cloth, but only after the fibers have been painstakingly combed out and twisted into a usable thread. Part of the combing process yields a tousled mass of light yellow fiber known as tow, although many people mistakenly render it as toe.

"Product Suggestions"
"We are working hard to make the CMT Shop a wonderful place to shop. If you have any suggestions on how we might improve, please let us know via the form below. We look forward to your comments, product suggestions and more."
Speaking of fan clubs - I prefer the parrothead fan club arrangement over the Zac Brown fan club.
I would rather pay my dues to a local club and be involved in local charities, parties, etc than to pay dues directly to the band itself.
As they say - "different strokes for different pholks"
“You’re always learning about this thing (guitar) every time you pick it up.” ~ Keith Richards
I actually agree w/ you on the fan club. Just mentioning the naming thing.
I would like to see ZB show up w/ JB at one of the shows this summer though!!!
It would be great to hear "Where the boat leaves from" done by a band that can really do that song justice!!
