Re: It's Now Official-Bufffett On CMT Crossroads
I only live about 60 miles from The Factory. My wife is going with me and she has to work until around 2:30. We plan to be there between 4:30 and 5:00 and find somewhere to eat.
Anyone know if there are good places inside The Factory, or should we look around outside before going in?

I'm confused. No, wait...maybe I'm not...

It's pretty $$$$$ area, so expect to pay...
Franklin is the area that most country music stars and the very wealthy in Nashville live. Take a ride down Franklin road and you will be amazed at the homes. I have about a 45 minute commute to work every day out there and I love it.
Sapphire is a place inside the Factory that a lot of people go. I plan on going there before and should be there around 5:30....earlier depending on traffic.

Just got back from The Factory, they are ready to roll. There are enough generators there to run the city of Franklin.

What did Jimmy & Zach film on the 8th? Was it a rehersal or do they tape 2 shows? I know something was done yesterday as well.

Re: It's Now Official-Bufffett On CMT Crossroads
Well the Nashville Parrothead club finally got invites. I just got home from the show. We got 'standing room only' tickets and stood on the 2nd floor just above and behind the drummer. They did 3 songs and found out there was a problem in the recording trailer so they had to do'm over. There were a couple of other woopsies and do-overs but overall I liked it a lot. Songs included toes, where the boat leaves from, free, chicken fried, son of a son of a sailor, margaritaville, pirate looks at 40 and I forget the others. (edit to add songs PM'd to me by ****) The other songs were Wings and Nobody From Nowhere.
PS, several Reefers along with Will Kimbrough and Mac McAnally were there. They even had 'Elvis' sing the lost verse in Margaritaville.

Re: It's Now Official-Bufffett On CMT Crossroads
wow! what a night! i'll try to give good review so it may be long......
after checking in with no problems, we were let inside the doors. the first thing i noticed as i walked in, how small the place was. 300-350 people max. we had GA tickets, so were trying to find a good seat. right as we walked in, a lady with cmt pointed to us and said to follow her. she asked if we were big fans, etc...we said oh yes, big parrotheads. she led us to the front row, right in front of jimmy and zac's mic! i almost passed out! she told us they wanted big fans in the front row for the cameras, and if she gave us those seats, we had to promise to stand, sing and have a good time...NO PROBLEM! i was in shock at this point. getting to see this show...and front row????? i had to be dreaming!
anyway, the show began and it was amazing. they split it up into 2 sets...1st zac brown band songs, 2nd jimmy songs. during the zac brown set...nadirah, tina, robert, ralph, and utley were alos on stage. mac joined for the final 2 songs. during the jimmy set...roger guth, will kimbrough and uncle jim joined the party.
it was obvious, jimmy was really focused during the zac brown set. he didnt want to screw up, he even joked about it after the set was over. it was tough for them to get into a rythm, b/c cmt had to give the thumbs up after every song, making sure it was a good take. they actually had to re-do 3 songs...but nobody complained
the set list....
toes-redo
where the boat leaves-redo
free/one love
chicken fried
soasoas
nobody from nowhere
wings-redo
pirate
mville
the hi-lites, imo, were toes and pirate. i wanted to see jimmy do toes b/c i thought i was a perfect jb song...and it was. robert on the pans was great!
for pirate...it was just jimmy, zac and mac on stools...roberts on the pans....great!
the show lasted around 90 minutes.
after the show wrapped, jimmy was walking off stage and i stuck my hand up. he stopped, came back to me and shook my hand. i almost passed out! then...i managed to get robert's set-list!
afterwards, the entire zac brown band and mac hung-out with the fans, which i thought was really cool. i got to meet zac and say hello to mac.
just a fantastic night! i know how incredibly lucky i am to have experienced this. dream night come true!!!!!! cant wait until march to see the finished show!

How AWESOME is that!!!!!! Nothing like being at the right place at the right time. And you got a setlist. I am sure you are still higher than ever. Did you even sleep?? How could you? Happy it all worked out for ya.
Our St Barts trip and being right in front was something we will cherish forever. Once in a lifetime opportunity, and we took advantage of it. What will be so cool is you will get to relive the whole experience again in March when they play it on Crossroads. Can't wait to see it. Need I say, have a great day!!

An amazing HISTORIC concert, and then afterwards I went to the after-party which was amazing....it's not 6:00 AM....still have not been to bed. Only Jim Mayer from the CRB showed, but the entire ZBB including Zac was there.
Another magic night!

I think Big R summed it up well, it was one of those nights as being a parrothead you did not want to miss.
Great night, glad I could be a part of of it.
