from what I've seen, these guys are extremely appreciative of their fans. I find that *way* cool!
i told this story after the cmt show with buffett....

i had the chance to meet zac after the show. talked to him for just a second, he was a VERY nice guy.
they seem like the kind of people you'd love to sit around a campfire with, have a few beers, and BS about just about anything.

He is also has a cook-out/BBQ for a select group of fans at every stop....
I guess he does most of the cooking....

That's the first time I'd taken notice of this band.

Impressive jammin' 8)

...and it was good to see Leon Russell again. I guess he has had some serious medical issues lately.

When I saw him at Big State, he was walking with two canes. I think he's had 2 hip replacements ... at least that's what we heard when we saw him in Waco several years back.

I would so love to do a feature on him ... but, alas, he doesn't do interviews. :D

Would have been even more fun if they'd done "Toes." But I guess it's not their best-known song. (*shrug*)

Still...cool to see them getting that level of recognition. I may have to start following them around.
