Best web hosting service?

Hellloooo my fellow web people! I'm doing a small freelance project for a civil engineer my mom works with on a frequent basis. He wants a basic website that describes his business and how to reach him--nothing fancy--no ordering anything--just web content. Easy enough 'cause that's what I do for a living.

However, all the design and publishing I do is internal for my company, so I have NO idea what the best value for website hosting services is. I'll probably use whatever native/WYSIWYG tool the hosting service has available for creating a site so that I can create it scalably and so that the client or my mom can maintain it on his own if need be.

So, what's the best out there? I immediately thought of GoDaddy and if there's nothing better out there, that's probably what I'll go with.

yearly rate is reasonable. You don't have a ton of annoying ads botherinig your "customers". One thing; remember to back up often (crap - I need to do that!!).

Here's a cheap, reasonable hosting option with a very good WYSIWYG editor (and a lot of fundamental templates) and good tech support. The BNCRITTERS.com website actually uses one of these templates.
