Well so far I love it! I've loaded my music from itunes on it and the store transferred all of my contacts from my old phone.

I made of folder of pictures for the iphone which included most of the people in my contact file so I could put a picture with each of them. When I synced from itunes I chose that folder of pictutes to sync and darned if it didn't end up on my phone :P

I'm not techie and I was able to have all that happen very painlessly. (I had to ask the guy in the store how to turn the phone on  )

I have the instructions to make my own ringtone...haven't done it yet. I've always had hot, hot hot as my ring...however you cannot just buy a tone from AT&T for this phone. It looks like I need to go into itunes and create it from the song :o

The only times I ever texted was to Molly during the hurricane. All I've ever used a phone for before was to call someone. So this should be an adventure...

Shazam is a great free app. Use it when a song comes on that you don't know the title, it lets you know the name of the song etc. Of course it also lets you know you can buy it on I Tunes.

I have owned the I Phone for about a month and love it.

Molly there is now a NHRA app that gives live results from the races, they also have it for some Blackberries too.

I've read about the app and wondered how well it worked. But we don't have to worry about that for a few month.

OK I've had the i phone for a while now and here are some of my favorites.

Scrabble & Boggle
Bejeweled
I Bird midwest
flight track
gate guru
woot watch
urban spoon

And my main fav right now is the free Kindle app. I never used a cell phone much in the past because I'm not much for talking on the phone. However, I've used the apps a LOT.

Congrats! You will absolutely love this phone. Here We Are is available as a ring tone. I finally chose it after it turned out to be to complicated for me to get Hot Hot Hot.

Thanks Nancy. :)
I saw that on Nutmeg's list and was going to ask if there was a reason to get ibird over the audubon guide (other than price). I know the audubon one was recommended by birders world, that's what got me on the whole iphone quest to begin with.

do you buy the ringtones on itunes or at ATT? :-? I was looking in the itunes store but didn't see any ringtones, I thought they used to have them. Guess I need to find a 9 year old kid to handle the ringtones for me.
