With our Magenta Umbrella to guide us we should easily make it 5 cases this time around.

cant believe I missed the tailgating! Well, wont be working or volunteering for anything this year!! I'll be there Thursday... got the room early, so at the hotel (thanks for the offer Patrick!). I think the Calypso's are playing Thurs as well.

maybe I should bring the outside tiki bar too!

Christine....you have to come....it's gonna be EPIC....and everyone, if you haven't registered yet....when you do and they ask for your club affiliation...tell them Buffettnews.....on the host clubs website they have tallies of how many are coming and from what club....let's get BN on that list.

I think we're initiating a couple of Buffett virgins to the wicked ways of the BN tailgate. Pam, Carol & Dave met them when we got together for Oktoberfest....they're cool and will fit right in.

I really would like to...it will all depend on finding a roomie and hopefully getting some OT in the end of Jan/beginning of Feb so i can afford it!

I'm not planning on going but it looks like at least online there are no more rooms at the Holiday Inn. So if anyone is on the fence you might want to call. I spent all my fun ticket money on St Barth and I'm saving for the 2010 concert season and MOTM.

This looks like it will be the Convention of all conventions!!

I've had that happen before and sometimes if you call you can get a room but I'd call sooner rather than later.

New England in February versus Wisconsin in February. Sounds to me like I'd just be trading one icebox for another.
The other thing is that I enjoyed my first JB concert this past August at Alpine Valley (despite the uncooperative weather), so unless my Powerball numbers come up, I think I'll be like ScarletB and save my pennies for the 2010 concerts. Maybe I can combine a Buffett concert weekend along with a bicycle tour in an as-yet unridden state.
