Songs Jimmy Has Possibly Never Played That He Needs To Play
On tour, with the band. Maybe some that he has only played a couple of times, like Lone Palm, as well or glacial ages ago, like Wonder Why We Ever Go Home. I know this could get silly and full of errors but it's a chance to highlight some nuggets that he's never or hardly played. The most requested tune, it seems, is Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On.
A Salty Piece Of Land
Island Fever
Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On
Happily Ever After, Now And Then
Lone Palm
Barometer Soup

you can add "Love & Luck" to that list....would love to hear it live, but he hasn't played it in 10 years.

Re: Songs Jimmy Has Possibly Never Played That He Needs To Play
Thanks for the reminder. Had that one in the download hopper from earlier this year and hadn't opened it up yet. At about 0:23 in the song, Jimmy yells out "Gilly's, 1980". Anyone know what he was referring to? I can see it being a TX show that it might have referenced Gilly's in Dallas. I don't see a show listed in or around 1980 in the set list database there though.ragtopW wrote:looking4OPH wrote:Livingston Saturday Night.....hardly

Could be, although Rancho Deluxe (which Jimmy shouts out at the end of the song) looks like it was released in 1975.Staredge wrote:Rancho Deluxe, maybe???![]()

Lone palm- Sag Harbor NY 11/20/99 was called "no bird flies by window" then
Still, it's all a mystery,
This place we call the world
Most are fine as oysters
While some become pearls

Re: Songs Jimmy Has Possibly Never Played That He Needs To Play
That was 5 years after it came out. If that date is correct - 1999. I recall there being a hint of it in Where Is Joe Merchant with that title but that was a good bit before the song came out.
Some of these, though, he's played it once, like Livingston Saturday Night? Or throughout the tour? I loved Ringling, Ringling on the Beach House tour. And it would be great if he played it again along with Brahma Fear and The Wino And I Know. I don't think he's played it since the 1999 fall Beach House tour that I'm aware of.

I agree that I'd like to hear Barometer Soup again, but looking at the setlists, it seems to have been played at least 17 times:
