Wouldn't work at all - it's his own song and there's a chance he'd play it. For example my next choice could possibly be Bawitdaba by Kid Rock as it would be strange as hell, and quite possibly funny if he tried to cover it. Some of us just have a black quirky sense of humor and don't mean it as negatively as some people take it.

I thought this thread started out with requests for Jimmy's songs that were never or rarely played. I didn't think this was a thread to see which songs would be funny for Jimmy to cover.

The thread title is "Songs Jimmy Has Possibly Never Played That He Needs To Play" Nothing about the songs being exclusively Buffett songs. In fact the thread's author stated "I know this could get silly"

I was going for silly and some of you got it and some didn't. Either you get it or you don't.

WTF is wrong with you people ... is there some compelling reason you can't stop this petty bickering in every GD thread?

Connie - enough already with the snide comments about JB's "untruthfulness". We get it - he didn't play the PNW like he "promised". Re-hashing it is only asking for more arguments. It's over, it's passed, move on.

Michelle - you didn't start this thread, you don't get to decide what content gets posted. You wanna dictate the content, start your own site.

Dave - give it up with the personal vendetta. Every time Connie posts in a thread like this you show up with your nasty little comments. It's not funny, it's not productive and it sure as hell ain't Buffetty.

Now, y'all can be pizzed at me. I don't really give a flying reindeer crap. This is BS and it's time all of you hitched up your big people britches and acted like adults. REAL Buffett fans don't behave this way.

Personally, I'd love to hear Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On. (No innuendo, no hidden message here. I love the song and would love to hear it live, that's all.)

Or Love in the Library.

Or Captain and the Kid. But I'm not sure JB could get through it and I'd be a blubbering mess two lines in....

Ok in the spirit of the theme of the thread....

I would really like to see him do a really blow out version (complete with costume)
of Elvis Imitators.

Maybe dress the whole band as Elvis.

You may now start slapping me around.

No offense, but consider yourself smacked upside the head.

After seeing Jeff Pike of A-1-A in a red jumpsuit doing Elvis, I can only hope to never seen an Elvis imitator again.

Actually, that would be pretty dang funny.

Not specifically Jimmy, but I'm still holding out hope of hearing Nadirah do "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".
