Oh, and seriously? We don't do any kind of big Christmas here any more. If I asked for anything it would be related to things in the kitchen or a very small upgraded Ipod type device.

Plane graters are wonderful cheap and our most ised kitchen tool. My wish list is a nook reader. Pandora bead bracelet starter or an iPod shuffle. Mr oc and I often skip ourselves though to give to others in some way.

We're going to Orlando next week. That's our Christmas present.
BUT, we will be getting a 46" LCD or LED TV in the next few months.

I really, really want a huge cookware grade Himalayan pink salt platter, but unfortunately the caves that have the salt vein are currently occupied. I think I have to settle for a brick instead.

Terry...I've bought a gazillion zester/graters/rasps. They were all junk, no matter the price. Then I found this baby at Williams-Sonoma:East Texas Parrothead wrote:A Kindle

It's the most awesome thing I've ever owned...well, cooking related at least! It zests citrus beautifully, and unlike the other zesters, the zest doesn't stick to it. You can also make those curlicue thingies with it. I got one for my mom since she liked mine so much. I'm not seeing it online at W-S, but I found it at this link: http://www.candochefs.com/Microplane_Ul ... 4608-3.htm
Oh yeah, I had to grate nutmeg tonite (the spice, not the BNer) and it worked like a charm!

Re: What do you want for Christmas?
okay I do have one thing I'd like and it's cheap.
A Mangroomer from Target.

Seems the older I get the more hair I get on my back. It wouldn't be so bad if I was just a furry beast but instead it's unsightly patches here and there....looks like continents back there if I let it run wild
