A Kindle

New earbuds for my iPod

A new answering machine

A zester and a really good rasp (is that what you call those planer/grater thingees?)
Gentilly ... 42 years is a long time to wait .... a Northeast Texas woman can hope.
My love is an anchor tied to you, tied with a silver chain.

Oh, and seriously? We don't do any kind of big Christmas here any more. If I asked for anything it would be related to things in the kitchen or a very small upgraded Ipod type device. :)

Plane graters are wonderful cheap and our most ised kitchen tool. My wish list is a nook reader. Pandora bead bracelet starter or an iPod shuffle. Mr oc and I often skip ourselves though to give to others in some way.

We're going to Orlando next week. That's our Christmas present.

BUT, we will be getting a 46" LCD or LED TV in the next few months.

I really, really want a huge cookware grade Himalayan pink salt platter, but unfortunately the caves that have the salt vein are currently occupied. I think I have to settle for a brick instead.

Terry...I've bought a gazillion zester/graters/rasps. They were all junk, no matter the price. Then I found this baby at Williams-Sonoma:

It's the most awesome thing I've ever owned...well, cooking related at least! It zests citrus beautifully, and unlike the other zesters, the zest doesn't stick to it. You can also make those curlicue thingies with it. I got one for my mom since she liked mine so much. I'm not seeing it online at W-S, but I found it at this link: http://www.candochefs.com/Microplane_Ul ... 4608-3.htm

Oh yeah, I had to grate nutmeg tonite (the spice, not the BNer) and it worked like a charm!
