So I went ahead and downloaded the MP3 for 3.99 since I also remembered that I have a 1.00 credit for a MP3 from Amazon I figure the $2.99 was ok so I could listen to it today! It is loading now.......
I did that last Wednesday as well... but when a box popped up and offered a free trial of Amazon Prime - I accepted
so my two other CD's arrived the very next day....
and Buffet Hotel was at my door Monday evening! Such a deal! !
(Now I just have to make sure I cancel the whole Prime thing before the first of the year! )

I happened to be near my local Wal-Mart yesterday and having seen their logo on the mailboat page I figured I'd pop in there and get it.
The only Buffett albums I saw were SYKBH and T,TH,S.
I had to ask, Where's the new Buffett album? They had to go - it took about 15 minutes - dig for it.
So obviously Wal-Mart is only carrying the album, they aren't really putting it out there. AC/DC (Columbia Records) most likely paid for their shelf space. Jimmy doesn't seem to have done such a thing.
Oh and it was $11.99. So over a dollar a song for 11 songs (Chill The Rose is just not worth the money).

Go to the "Manage My Prime Account" link on your Amazon account page. You can set your prime membership up so it doesn't automatically renew and save yourself the reminder.
Picked it up for $7.99 at Best Buy yesterday and after listening to the album twice now I realize why it cost so little.
Now I know this Joe down in Mexico.
He went there to work on his tan.
For years he's been plugged into blenders and songs.
They call him the Twelve Volt Man
The Best Buy flyer from my Sunday paper shows 'Buffet Hotel' at $7.99 in the brick-and-mortar store. Price good thru Saturday 12/12.
And if they run out, you can probably get a raincheck for it at that price. -"BB"-
