MODS: Is it okay if I post the download links here for this show? Thanks!
Makes sense to me. Possibly if just the interview portions were posted... that might work.Migration Michelle wrote:There are a few more replays of it on Radio Margaritaville...I don't think I would post a bootleg recording of a CD that is for sale.
Jimmy does have to make a buck someway.![]()

They're selling Jimmy reading the liner notes from the cd, which is different than the conversation with Jimmy and Steve during the RM preview.moog wrote:I believe mailboat is selling the audio commentary as a download.
Why on earth would Jokelben have a problem or legal issue? Jokelben has no legal claims to this material or any other for that matter.kahuna01 wrote:I think you may have some legal issues here on Jokelben.

I'm well aware of that ... an earlier poster seemed to imply that *Jokelben* would have a problem with *someone else* (other than Jokelben) uploading the recorded RM broadcast, which is of course ridiculous.kahuna01 wrote:Because the stuff is being sold commercially. Mailboat has a copyright.
I was confused about that comment as well...surfpirate wrote:I'm well aware of that ... an earlier poster seemed to imply that *Jokelben* would have a problem with *someone else* (other than Jokelben) uploading the recorded RM broadcast, which is of course ridiculous.kahuna01 wrote:Because the stuff is being sold commercially. Actually, if someone uploads copyrighted material to the Jokleben FTP, The "owner" of jokleben could be charged with offering copyrighted material for download. And jokleben would go away.Migration Michelle wrote:I was confused about that comment as well...surfpirate wrote:I'm well aware of that ... an earlier poster seemed to imply that *Jokelben* would have a problem with *someone else* (other than Jokelben) uploading the recorded RM broadcast, which is of course ridiculous.kahuna01 wrote:Because the stuff is being sold commercially. Get an FTP program and download to your heart's desire. Burn em to CD. Load em up on your MP3 player or iPod. Fill up your computer's hard drive. IT'S MADNESS!!!!HurricaneSeason wrote:Perhaps I'm missing something - I thought at Jokleben one could only listen (stream), not download.
