How often does your song get played when you request it on RM??? Never made one, but I imagine lots of people make requests and they can't play 'em all. Anybody ever do it?

I did make a request for Delany Talks to Statues. A few days later I was listening to the Buffett Buffet, and to my surprise and horor, I heard a recording of my voice from the parrot line. It depends on how often they listen to the messages on the parrot line and how often they look at the requests made by e-mail.

Exactly, depends how often they listen to the request line and which DJs are on. I know the first time you do it, you record all your information and every time you call from that phone, they know it is you... cool/creepy

It might seem creepy, but it is not. They more than likely have caller ID, so when you give them your information when you make the first call, they are establishing demographics where RM is being listened to. Also, where it can have the potential of being creepy is that there are nutters out there who probably have made crank calls on the parrot line. If the crank call is threatening in any way you can possibly be tracked down.
