The album arrived today. I came in this topic to get permission to listen to it. I don't belong to any group or movement. if I have anything negative to say about it, I promise not to mention it. It is a brave new world.

No. He's still upset that Amy Lee and TC are no longer in the band.

I don't want to listen to the album for the first time on my PC nor car speakers. I'm going to fire up the stereo system. I just want to make sure I use the CD player and not the turntable.

VG, I have plenty of jewel cases I can transfer it over to. Or I can use one of those CD/DVD envelopes.

Ahh..but I've done that enough in my lifetime. ... 'sides, I hate going to the store and shopping enough as it is, I am not stepping foot anywhere near places like that this time of year.

I don't think it is great. Kind of reminds me of Beach House. It is all over the place. I didn't go to or listen to any shows, so this is my first listen to these songs. Surfing in a Hurricane = Big Rig.

Not being negative, just honest. Happy he feels he can do whatever he wants now, but just want to know when he felt like he couldn't.

personal opinion so far. Otherwise yeah, the album really doesn't find one theme/message and go with it. Maybe the French confiscating his vitamins also got his AADD meds.
