I'm thinking about going that weekend.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

As of this morning he is not listed. However, Van Morrison and Pear Jam are. According to NOLA.com there are some TBA's yet to come.

No JB announcement yet, but there is an "Artist TBA" for the first weekend. Still the second weekend looks like a great lineup that includes Sonny Landreth. Hopefully, Jimmy won't be too far behind.

The last time JB played jaz fest, the announcement of him playing there did not come out until some time in January, so maybe there is still hope. Regardless of whether he plays or not, what a lineup!

I was in NOLA over the weekend and the word there is most likely he will play. Top acts can not play Jazz Fest for 2 years in a row. Also he is known to be a late addition and there several spots still open.

I won't be there for Jazz Fest....but we WILL be arriving in NOLA the Wednesday AFTER. I'm hoping on possibly seeing a killer artist in a small venue in an un-announced show. Whether that happens or not, I'm still expecting to hear some fine music from the local bands in the local bars!

That Freddy and the Fishsticks show in 2008 was definitely killer. And that Nadirah and Sonny show in 2009 was amazing.

The plot sure does thicken. Is Jimmy going to be at Jazzfest or not? If not at Jazzfest, hope that he at least shows at Margaritaville during Jazzfest. Let us know Jimmy!

I still remember Jimmy saying in a recent interview that he was planning something very special in New Orleans during Jazz Fest. So we are going to wait it out and see what happens. In the mean time, there's Jacksonville on February 20th.
