Margaritaville Nashville?

Being "between jobs" like I am now I was surfing the Monster-dot-com web site. I found a Margaritaville restaurant job opening for a general manager in Nashville, TN:

I don't have a Bachelor's degree so the job is not for me but this is interesting. Even the margaritavillenashville.com domain now points to an 'under construction' page instead of just being a parked domain.

Sorry to hear you are between jobs. My wife is in IT too, and although she has a job, she has been searching for something different the past few months and came up with nothing.

Event though they want a bachelor's degree doesn't mean it is required. I would say the restaurant experience is more important to run a restaurant. But who knows, maybe with enough charisma, they might like you.

My restaurant experience consists of reading menus and eating/drinking.
And as an IT geek (and fer real BOFH) - we are not supposed to have charisma
A job there would be kinda neat though. I could be the on-site cash register repairman

Hubby goes to Nashville every year for a conference. I may have to go with him this time or next (depending on the opening which will be inevitably delayed).
