Re: eat this not that???
I saw that on my yahoo face page, and I agree, Wayne, and I do have the thick-burger from Hardee's quite often, probably more ofthen than I should, but DAMN, it's SO good.
I'm all for letting people making their own choices, but the triple whopper with cheese from Burger King is too much for even me. (But I DO have a birthday coming up-
)
Burger King Triple Whopper Sandwich with Cheese and Mayo
1,250 calories
84 g fat (32 g saturated, 3.5 g trans)
1,600 mg sodium

But, by no means should they take it off the market. If that's what a person WANTS to eat, let them go for it.

Obviously who ever wrote this must be a commie. In America we like are burgers, and will continue to eat them. So go ahead and make your little articles.... its only gonna help the burger chains succeed. Just like I may have to go out and actually buy some Nike products because they are keeping Tiger Woods.
Did you hear the one about me being a punk?
Did you hear the one about me being a drunk?
Did you hear the one about me losing my nerve?
Or how I'm just another f**** sheep in the herd?
Did you hear the one about me giving a s***?
Cause if I ever did I don't remember it.

Re: eat this not that???
My problem with their philosophy is the person who would eat the In-n-Out Double Double with large fries isn't going to be satisfied without a bun or fries. Or the Triple Whopper replaced with a grilled chicken sandwich.
One other thing they overlook- we looked up the nutritional information for Jimmy Johns. I absolutely love the Beach Club, but wow did it ever have a ton of calories! If you skip the mayo, you save 200 calories, and I couldn't tell the difference. I actually bit into it, and told Tom I wished I had remembered to tell him to get it without mayo, and he said he had (he's good like that!). Sure enough, no mayo.
If you skip the Ranch on some of their worst items, they're not so bad anymore either. It just seems like far more hype about horrible things than educational info about the bad things that really add up.
