The Rangers are the second team to win the best of seven series by 5 runs or more in each of it's 4 victories. The first team to do it is the 2007 Red Sox.

Rangers/Giants World Series, Fox should get some pretty low ratings this year

There's a lot of baseball fans in the Western region. And some folks who just like watching the World Series, no matter who is playing. Good luck to both teams. :)

Corey, I'll be rooting for the Giants but I won't be watching because I don't own a TV. And unless Fox and Cablevision come to an agreement, no Cablevision subscribers in the NY metropolitan area (there are about 3 million of them) will be able to watch it. All Fox channels, broadcast and cable, have been pulled from the Cabelvision system.

Geez those yahooos haven't solved that yet? Aren't cable companies franchised by the municipalities? I think maybe it's time to rethink the contracts. I feel for you and all your fellow sports fans there.

Matt Cain REALY is that good.

http://www.sbnation.com/mlb/2010/10/29/ ... ain-giants

Usually the Giants don't score any runs for him.

Cain was perfect in the first. He was perfect in the second. He was perfect in the fourth. He was perfect in the seventh. Cain did a terrific job of making sure he didn't find himself in many jams.

Cain's night ended at the 7.2-inning mark, having allowed four hits and two walks on 102 pitches. He still hasn't allowed an earned run in the playoffs over three starts, becoming one of just five pitchers in baseball history to throw at least 20 innings in one playoffs without allowing an earned run.
