It's time for the "Hot Stove League" again.......trade rumors and free agent signings make the off-season tolerable for a baseball fan!
However; I do kind of miss the stability of team rosters in the "old days"......holy crap, my past is now part of the "old days"
As a lifelong Orioles fan it was kind of comforting to know that come Opening Day Brooks Robinson would be on 3rd, Boog Powell on 1st, etc.........

Hey! It's not like Howard struck out with runners in scoring position... wait....never mind
You missed a great series.
Some of the best pitching in the history of the game
Vlad G proved the DH degrades the game of baseball
and the NL won

I like Jeter, but I have to question that selection. Can't argue with the others. I think Buehrle won that Gold Glove on Opening Day.

With the Orioles RF Nick Markakis being at or near the top of assists and fielding percentage each year, I cannot believe he has yet to win a Gold Glove.....

ESPN announcing that Jon Miller and Joe Morgan are out as announcers of Sunday Night Baseball.
That'd be a shame because, IMO, Miller is one the great voices and storytellers in the game.
...but I can't say the same for Morgan's analyst skills.

A little bit of baseball died for this kid today . . . .
