When I started this thread I did not think 24 days later that we'd still be waiting on a date. This wait is excruciating.

Just booked Holiday Inn Express. Yippee!

I just realized it was one year ago today that Mr Play started the FFF III thread. Wouldn't it be nice to get an announcement on tour dates today so he can start FFF IV?

I just edited my sig line and removed FFF III. Had to make room for the new thread that will start today! Thinking positive!

A date would be nice...I'd like to tell the place I'm staying which of the 14-days I gave notice about will actually be my days.

I wanted to be sure I was covered, so I thought 14 would do that...come on Jimmy, prove me right!!

Just a FYI...... We stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites last year, in Legacy Park, on Parkwood.
It was a beautiful hotel!!! nice happy hour with snacks each evening, and great breakfast.
I think we paid $89~ Very close to the venue. I would go back there in a minute!

We probably wont make this one this time around... because my daughter is due around that time and we were given strict orders that we can't leave town. Especially after being in Vegas when my other granddaughter was born!!
(but I keep hoping she will go early, and we can sneak in town and back out before she knows it)

anyway, just a hint about that hotel, if anyone is still looking!!!!

And on the flip side, avoid the NYLO! Two years ago it was great, with a huge Parrothead party on Friday night. Last year, it was a disaster. Their bar was jammed with locals both nights, blasting rap you could hear 3 floors up. No parking at all, we had to park on the grass and go back down at 3am to move our car. I can't believe our vehicle made it through unharmed and didn't get towed. There were drunks weaving all over the parking lot, in the grass, up on the curbs....ick! Their security and valet service was a joke. I complained so much they comped us a night. It's amazing what people will do just to shut me up. Guess it's the red hair!

We've stayed at the Hampton Inn the last two years and have been very happy.

Good luck with the grandbaby! Our first one was born three days before the concert last year! Still made the tailgate, but not the concert....though it was a good trade off! Love that baby!!!
