I think this option might be gone now, but there was a grass lot right across the street from the venue right in the SawGrass Mills parking lot that we tailgated in years back. It's probably been developed by now, but it used to exist. It might be an option as we set up a pretty big tailgate that year and just walked right across the street to the venue.

The mall put an end to that. I remember a lot of people tailgating in the mall parking lot years back. There are still plenty of people who park there and walk across to save the parking cost. I did it for KISS last October.
