1. How do I add a picture to my signature?

If you don't own your own server space to upload a photo, you upload to the photo gallery here and then use the thumb for your signature.

Or, many PHs sign up for a free photobucket account and upload your signature photo there. Then you resize it to no more than 200 high and use the [img] links and paste that in your profile for signature.

2. How do I add an avatar

If you don't own your own server space to upload a photo, you upload to the photo gallery here and then use the thumb for your avatar.

Or, many PHs sign up for a free photobucket account and upload your avatar photo there. Then you resize it to 120 x 120 and use the direct link and post it in your profile for avatar.


3. How to I link into a thread instead of posting a separate reply.

I think you're asking how to quote someone...hit the quote button by the users post you want to quote.

And I was wrong. phjim says your avatar can be 140 x 140

1. Log in using your username and password.

2. Click on "User Control Panel" near the top of the page

3. Click on "Profile" in the left hand column

4. Click on "Edit Avatar" in the left hand colum

In the field called "Link off-site:" enter the URL address of the picture you want to link to. You should include the name of the gif or jpg file. Your avatar size should not exceed 140 x 140 pixels.

Example enter:
