BUT to address the Rush hates Haiti deal - I do listen, I was listening on the day he discussed and reread the transcripts to make sure my understanding was accurate. (He posts all transcripts/audio & video the day of the show on his web site and they are archived for reference)
To set the record straight - he did NOT say not to donate, he did NOT say he hated Haiti - he DID praise the American People/Military saying that we will come through for those in Haiti as we always do, even though we're dealing with terrible economic times we will come through more than any other country. He DID say donate through normal/regular charities and not through the Whitehouse link. He had some opinions on why not to do that, right - wrong - indifferent. Not going to share my opinion on that routine. Am tired of lies being spread from all sides - just my two cents
