Dolphin Stadium officially becomes Sun Life Stadium on Wednesday
As expected, Dolphin Stadium will be renamed Sun Life Stadium as part of a deal that the Dolphins struck with a Canadian financial services firm, industry officials said Monday.

The name change will happen before the Jan. 31 Pro Bowl and Feb. 7 Super Bowl. The five-year deal reportedly averages out to $7.5 million annually.

so does this mean they'll retire the godawful version of Fins as well as the old name? Maybe, it being Sun-Life, a Canadian company, they can get Bryan Adams to write something almost as bad.

Drove past it today and the signs appear to be gone already.

Sad to see it go. Thought this was the first (major) step in the parrotthead global domination plan.

Since Jimmy doesn't have to shell out millions for naming rights to the stadium, this should mean concert tickets will be cheaper this year........that's how I see it.

kind of like last years concerts....
