There was once a 50 piece marching Kazoo band that marched in the Do Dah Parade. It's the parade that parodys the Rose Parade.

I remember seeing it on the evening news and thinking what fun it must have been.

It's spring in the South (meteorologically) but it's winter everywhere else and it's winter on the calendar. So how can it be 'spring cleaning' when it's not Spring!?

Ha ha.

I have had exactly one garage sale. We made less than $80, and wasted a week's worth of free time getting it ready and an entire weekend of the sale.

We would have made more by taking the tax write-off.

LOL...we came to the same conclusion...now we wait til we see one of our neighbors putting up signs for their yard sale, and go thru the garage and put out our "junk" on the lawn with "FREE" signs on it...it's always gone by evening, and we don't waste any of our time haggling over a nickle with the treasure hunters.
