The in-flight food.
The in-flight entertainment.
The type of aircraft being used.
The sexiness (sorry, "esthetic appeal") of the stewardesses (sorry, "flight attendants").
Having their baggage arrive at the same time and place as they do.

direct flight

or which city/airports you have to land in....destination, arrival or stop over

How many miles they get
how many miles they can use for ticket or upgrade

how much it costs to send luggage

Is there a bar open before/after they take off

do they have my beer on the plane

I was going to say hotness of stewardess but somebody beat me to it. I would guess either price or frequent flyer miles.

I'm gonna say going through security. You know, length of the line, will I be randomly searched, is my artificial hip going to set off the alarm, will I forget to emtpy out my water container, do I have the little bag for my 2oz or less of liquid, etc.

My second guess is if there is a bar near the departure gate.
Twenty degrees and the hockey games on...

Now you know how much I fly. I've traveled by air three times since graduating from high school, and one of those times was only because I won the trip (to the NBA All-Star weekend in NYC).

In flight entertainment still exist on some airlines. Travel from Seattle to Dallas and you get an in flight movie.
