because putting one in in a casino in Canada makes more sense... Tho less than 2 hours from NO, and 2 hours to LuLu's... it's not like that was a perfect thought either.

Well it does make sense to not pay for something that is expensive like that that is not doing anything.
Still not sure how it would really..sustain with Harrah's in New Orleans yet alone the other casions around Louisiana. Not sure how Lulu's fits into the picture either.

So what does the mayor of Biloxi want Jimmy to do? Something that doesn't make sense? Somebody must be paying the rent.

What does the mayor want Jimmy to do? From the article I read he doesn't say he wants Jimmy to do a thing, now Harrah's on the other hand..........

Jimmy is loved along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, he is considered family, one of us, that type of thing. The Mayor has his job and he is a good person. Part of his job is pushing what is best for Biloxi, the other part is bringing in money for balancing the books. The gambling business has slowed, so has investments like the rest of the Country money is not plentiful. I don't think anyone would expect JB to make a bad investment, if he knows better, so it is what it is, and we will all live with Margaritaville not being here. Good Time Riches and .............Jimmy has seen his share, but not here.

To bad. The casino was sch to open this year. Sounds like now the project is dead & what has been built is going to be torn down.
