I will only say it one more time....yee of the negative thoughts...... Jimmy is playing less than an hour away on the 17th and the 19th, the grand opening of the first club in Canada is the 18th... you do the math.......I have seen Jimmy , he's a people person.... he popped in while we were in Vegas and again in Mo Bay.... im just going to be there..... regardless of if he is there or not.... but I'm just seeing what is happening, if you want to believe it or not..... see ya there...... I wasnt really expecting all the negative vibes from this my first trip to this board.... wow.... chill out.. and let it happen... it will be fine.....enjoy!!!

By what means is Mansfield MA less than an hour away from Niagara Falls ON?
I'm flying throughToronto (which is almost an hour by car from Niagara Falls) and I leave there at 11:15, arriving in Boston (admittedly, east of Mansfield) at 12:50. That's 1.5 hours.

Jimmy's plane is faster, I guess.

But it's true that JB hardly ever shows up for the Grand Opening day at M'Villes.

Oh yeah, and welcome to the board, neighbour. We try not to be negative, but we do sometimes try to be realistic.

fair enough.... honestly, I cant wait to go to the Margaritaville in NF..... so close to home its great.... who wuudda thought..... cant wait to see how it looks, did they do the big volcano with the giant glass and girl on a slide, or is there a plane inside, or what... it will be great...... and the deck with the fallsview... nice....

We agree. With Jimmy you know. It is possible he could show up since he is that close in the area anyway. He doesn't usually show up on opening day but again you never know. Any if he has not had to opportunity to see the place in person and only in photos and building plans he might decide to come on over and check it out for himself.

We are so excited about this new location. Plan to spend a lot of time there.

Let The Fin Begin ^

Darn it all.... now I have to go up on Friday.
I will have to go up Friday, stay overnight and
go to work the next morning. I work about 15-20 minutes away
from there.....tops. I am just worried about heading up there
and not even being able to get into the place!! I would get there
around 630 ish. Anyone know if they take reservations for dinner??

Well I say.........since built it......he will come!

My husband and I both took the day off. I work at 7 the next morning and would not miss this for the world. I would love a little afternoon delight with a boat drink and a little singing by my phavorite JB.

“With Margaritaville, you never know when Jimmy’s going to stop by,” she said, speaking of the music-man himself. “He’s been known to just pop into the restaurants if he’s in the area and there’s never a lot of notice. Sometimes, he’ll play intimate shows, other times he just stops by to say hi.”

Leach said if the restaurants know in advance that Buffett is coming, they try to sneak the information out to the public, but most of the time he just shows up on a whim.

“It’s a real treat for the locals though,” she said with a laugh.

The family-friendly restaurant is situated right on the corner of Fallsview Boulevard and Murray Street, just steps away from the falls. Margaritaville is 14,000 square feet in size with two indoor levels and four outdoor patios.

Y'all know I have had my ear to the ground for you up here in Canada.

I have now however been sworn to deep secretly on somethings and if and when I can I will spread the word.
Jimmy is not expected up here (based on schedules) till July (rumor).
There is a large boat in the restaurant (confirmed).
I will post more pictures (from the inside) next week.

Can't wait. Half-day off, staying the night next Friday. Woo-hoo!

Good! my travel plans are for Niagara Falls in July.

It is going to be July for us as well. We just have to much gong on with work and can't get away for the opening. Although we want to!

I'm going to start a thread for who is planning on being there on opening day.

Made hotel reservations for Friday night!!
Trying to get the day off so we can head up much earlier
and enjoy the falls too. We live a half hour from there, but
hardly ever make it up there.

Probably going to go and stay over night again in July.

Trying to switch shifts, but seriously.........who wants to work an extra Saturday
