Kinda surprising considering it sounded like Bruce & The E Street would be taking some substantial time off. The Big Man is re cooping from the Hip Surgery, so you'd think he'd want a fair amount of time off. And I would suspect a new LP before a new tour. But what do I know?
Those were my thought's exactly...but then I thought maybe they were helping out Max since he's now unemployed!

Hey all!

We have seen him at The Tweeter Center in Tinley Park, Pine Knobb in Detroit and Alpine in WI. We are thinking of seeing him in either Pitt or Cincinnatti. Any reccomendations???

Both Pittsburgh and Cincinatti have their good points. I prefer Pittsburgh, personally...but I'm sure many people would say they like Cinci better. At Post Gazette (or First Niagara or whatever it's called now) tailgating is allowed in the venue parking lot. At Riverbend, you cannot tailgate in the venue parking lot but there are many smaller lots surrounding the venue in which to tailgate. I guess this is why I prefer Pittsburgh...well, that and it was my first concert and that's where our group goes every year. Cincinnati is awesome, too, though, and you probably should go there at least once if you have the chance just to say you've done it. It is, afterall, where the term Parrothead was born and is one of the more legendary places to see Jimmy. Up to you...you'll have a great time either place you go.

I FAR prefer Pitt over anywhere I have seen JB. The venue is friendlier, the parrotheads are friendlier, the tailgating is awesome. You're right, Cinci is a must-do ONCE, but my best experiences have been at StarLake (or whatever it's called each year). :wench:

Tom Watts (the Buffettman) called the Holiday Inn Express & Suites yesterday and told Dave the GM to put a hold on Aug., 11th & 12th for our Pre-Concert Pool Party on the 11th and the 12th for JB's concert.

He said he will keep all pricing the same as the past 2 yrs. Call and reserved your rooms 412-788-8400 and talk to Dave and make sure he knows you are coming to our annual party.
