Exactly my thoughts. Heather has a conspiracy theory that they didn't release all the lawn seats so people would buy the reserved seats. Lawns will become available as the date draws closer.

FYI, I checked tickets on VileNation, to see if any more had been released.......and they have not. In fact, the show is SOLD OUT, as I was unable to get 2 tickets together. There were still tickets available for Thursday though.

I've never been to a Buffett concert in Boston, and it sounds like it'll be a really great time, but I'm not sure about this one, anymore. It's turning into a huge project. 6 hour bus ride each way, expensive taxi to hotel, finding a ride to & from the tailgates Fri & Sat...Not sure if it's worth the money and the hassle. Might just save the $$ for Six String or MOTM, and avoid the aggravation.

I suspect there are few lawn tickets out there because the GW lawn is now pretty tiny. All those uncovered pavilions sit on what used to be lawn....

But, there are a lot of lawn tickets out there....some have been posted on the ticket exchange thread, and there are a lot posted on Craiglist.....for face, or a little over face. You just have to search a little bit.

Since I haven't seen it discussed yet..

Has anyone done anything to address the parking fiasco of last year.?

Do we want to move meet up location to Shaws? Pay for Premium parking?

We talked about it a bit at NEPHC, and I think Shaws is the way to go. Coming from McDonalds last year was a fiasco that ended up getting everyone separated because we have to cross lanes. Coming from Shaws would solve that. I'm not into paying for Premium parking. Personally, I enjoy that hour after the show where we can have another beer or soda, and reminisce about the highlights of the show, while waiting for the lots to empty and we can go home.

As for talking to the Venue, I believe it was discussed at NEPHC, and Club leaders were going to talk to them.

I agree, not that I have an issue with Premium parking but that lot NEVER seems to be as much fun, especially on Thursday when the crowd is smaller most of the day anyway. Hopefully someone with club connections can let us know if there was any progress with that and if we have car tags of some sort will they let us stay together.
How many days is it now? We're into double digits right??

Since I'm now a member of PHCOEM, I do know that they are coming in from Shaws as well. Next time I talk to them I'll find out if they have had any success in talking to the venue.

Friday
Beachcomber - Check
Sandbar Grill - Check
