One of the big issues with the Beachcomber is the distance from Boston... Long ride back when they have to work the next day....

i'm hearing thay something may be in the works for the Sandbar in Tauntan on Friday night!!!.....But i'll be on the Cape that night!!

I think I speak for all of us that we stand ready to change our plans if there's a CRB event somewhere!

Actually anything at the Sandbar would probably be at night anyway.

The Sandbar is worthless. The only thing to say is "why"? Why would anyone want to go there? Given the choice between a south shore New England Beach and that dump . . . ? Come on! No disrespect to Taunton and its glarious Center but head down to Newport, or go into Boston, or hit Cape Cod, or anything . . . ANYTHING!!!!! *That is not a square room with "Duval Street" signs in it making you "believe" you are in the Keys. New England + Summer = Anything but square rooms inside . . . I would rather drink in a Motel 6 room all day and watch 1980's Cinemax p*** with a case of Miller Highlife with an early issue Details magazine than waste a day at bar NOT on Cape Cod during Jimmy Buffett weekend IF the only choice was the aforementioned. Just saying.

The reason to go would be to see some of the CRB playing out on Friday night , that's all, otherwise no.

Booked RRI in Mansfield for Sat night!!.....79.99....but with AAA it was 71.00!!!

Timing is everything....they're now starting at $130!! (still a good price for the area)
