Great show sat. night. We got to the lot a bit too early - 10:30, and there was no getting in. No big deal as we went down the road and had a few at the bar. Got in to the lot at about 12:10 - near lot 7 and the busses. Only saw one Buffett News person.

Apparantly the policy on plastic water bottles has changed. They guy poured my $4.50 water into a paper cup. I asked him why he did that and his answer was "Mr. Buffett said this is what he wants". He also told me that the Dave Mathews show from a week or so ago allowed the bottles. Some times I just don't get the strange quirks that change from show to show like that.

Of course I also heard that Buffett was the ONLY show where drinking is permitted. If that's true or not I don't know. Regardless I'll take the drinking over the paper cup anyday. Plus I had a bottle of something else with me on the lawn so all was good.

I got home late last night, after spending Sunday at both the Sandbar and the Beachcomber (yes, I was two days late - just couldn't get Friday off, but managed Monday, so...my group of three had lunch at the Sandbar after sleeping in a bit, then luciole headed home to Texas via Logan (she had a rental car) while Barb and I headed down the Cape. We spent the afternoon at the Comber and then headed home. I dropped her in NH on my way up here to ME.

I hope to switch those days off next year and that there's some Friday fun to be had again! I'm all in!

Not much else to say except that I had a great tailgate experience this year and I loved the show. If The Phone Doesn't Ring is a personal fave and special to me for a lot of reasons, so that was my highlight, but the whole day was great!

Thanks to everyone for showing the BN spirit. It was great to meet so many new phriends and see others again (I'd list names, but a few are escaping me and...brain...still...just...tired...). And a special thanks to Barb and Dave for the lovely food. Everything was delicious and much appreciated!

I'm glad everyone got home safe, and I can't wait until next year!

Oh, and two non-BN acknowledgments:

*waves madly to Mike and Sarah (that's right, right?), friends of TongaTam, for simply being awesome*

And a special shoutout to my neighbor Rich and his fire crew for the use of their zip ties, tape, and shade. Oh, and for the Mojito and the comfort, too. Much love to a fellow tea drinker.

PS-I heard a rumor that somewhere on the site there were show badges available to download. Anyone know where? Or did I imagine that? (I bet I did and that the badges in question were the BN name badges.) If none are around, I'm thinking of making one up. I'll post if I do and you all can print your own if you're interested.

Great day Saturday..........wonderful to see old friends, meet some new ones, sad that I missed some, all in all a good time was had for sure..........The virgins that I brought w/me were very impressed with the friendliness of all parrotheads, they may even make this a yearly tradition!!!!

I'm starting to think that Dave and Barb are going to have to hire some help with all they do!!!! Great job guys!
