Just going to jump in here and say the this Hampton is not the best... It used to be something else.. outside doors etc.. but still clean.. just not up to Hilton standards, in my opinion!! That said I also would opt to try to stay closer in...

Aloha guys!

A few friends and I will be hitting the Houston show next month. None of us have been to a Buffett show at this venue, so hoping you can provide some background info like:

When do the gates open?
What is the tailgating scene like?
Do you have to keep your beer in a keg cup, or is open bottle permitted (sorry, I'm from PA, I know Texas liquor laws are a bit different)
Any other things to be mindful of?
Will there be a BN meeting place before going into the parking lots?

First of all
NO TAILGATING AT OR AROUND VENUE!!!
All the parking lots are private so no tailgating and if you try there are big men/woman on bigger horses that will make you leave.

There is a preconcert gathering at

The Buffett Concert preparty on May 20 has been announced. Hannas Reef with Jerry Diaz will be playing at Papa's Ice House (314 Pruitt Rd Spring, TX 77380) in the Woodlands from around 2:30 until 6:30 pm. The Buffett Concert starts at 8pm. The preparty is always in integral part of the Buffett Concert experience.

i have to work until 4 that day. tryign to get off early (boss willing) and i am heading to pappas ice house. lucky for me, i work in greenspoint, so it shouldnt be a bad drive at all.

bought my grass skirt, parrot hat, and coconut bra this week...bring on the 20th!

also, im looking for one lawn ticket for a friend. i sent a PM to txaggirl91, but if anyone knows of an extra floating around, i will pay for it!
