still cleaning I found some red hots left from ............................................
last Valentines Day I tried to add them to a batch of
Rice Krispy treats.. (they turned rock hard from the heat)
SO I dropped a box of them (8oz I think) into a glass of water
(about 22 OZ) and left them.. stirred them a few times
let them sit for about 10 hours (total dissolve)
then filled a glass with Ice two OZ of Rhum..
about 8 oz of my new mixture.. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM
the just perfect mix of sweet and hot..

I used both the white (cheap) and the Spiced... MMMMMM
I would not use good rum.. (like say a Goslings)
or one with a lot of "flavor" as the hot and sweet
taste of the Red hots would over power it..

FYI.. the mix is
sugar sticky
any hint of a spill.. clean right then and there..
spill it on your shirt?? change shirt..
it's great.. just a mess if not kept in the glass/your mouth..
