Sorry, there aren't any hotels within walking distance. There are several that are within a few minutes drive though
Any recommendations?

Staybridge Suites, Usually around 100$ a night and right next door to Cheeseburger in Paradise. This puts you right next to I-69 which is the interstate that will take you to Deer Creek. You'll have a straight shot and only about 7 miles to Deer Creek.

Staybridge Suites
INDIANAPOLIS-FISHERS
9780 CROSSPOINT BLVD
INDIANAPOLIS, IN 46256 UNITED STATES
Hotel Front Desk:1-317-577-9500

I've been told $25 per person. It sure is convenient as long as the weather holds up. Our group is going for it.

Cambria Suites seemed to be the closest to Verizon Amphitheater. Less than 1 mile.

There is also a Holiday Inn that throws a party and offers buses to and from the concert for around $25 a person. It's at an exit near the concert by a Cheeseburger in Paradise.

That Cambria Suites is new too. They just built it last year. It is right off of exit 10 and across from the new mall.

Some friends of ours also got a package deal, I believe that it was with the Cheeseburger in Paradise on the south side of Indianapolis (Southport, First exit on I-65 south of I-465 on the Southside of Indy). It included a Cheeseburger In Paradise gift card, round trip transportation to the concert and a hotel room I believe next to Cheeseburger in Paradise. It may have even included Pavallion tickets, but I can't remember the details. They have done it for a couple of years and really enjoy it. Give CIP a call:

CIP-Southport, IN
4670 Southport Crossings Drive
Indianapolis, IN 46237
Phone: 317-883-4386
Fax: 317-883-4086

The CIP closest to the venue is in Fishers and they may have the same deal, their info is:

CIP-Fishers
9770 Crosspoint Boulevard
Fishers, IN 46256
Phone: 317-585-0247
Fax: 317-585-0269
The next time you get mad, ask yourself the following question. Will it will matter a year from now?
If it won't, breathe in, breathe out and move on. Life is short, remember to have fun along the way.

Sleepybear is always popular. I have heard they have a nice party atmosphere too but I haven't actually been. I always hit the lot nice and early and I just live up the road so I never have to worry about finding a place to collapse.

Long time parrot head. First time to Indy. I live in michigan and was wondering if there is any lock out for instance can I go to my ticket master and get tickets at the same time you can in Indy. I believe it is same time zone also please correct me if I am wrong. If the above is true and anyone wants to make ticket requests I can try and get as many as possible. Not sure how many people I can get to go with me.

Tickets go on sale to everyone at the same time. This Saturday at 10:00 a.m. EST at TM.

I have heard conflicting times for the start time of the concert. TM says 8:00, whick is the normal time for Indy, but I have also heard 7:00 and even 5:00. Anybody know for sure? No big deal, I can always look at the tickets Saturday.

I would think it would be 8:00 just like it always is. Maybe people are confused and guessing different times because we aren't used to getting a Saturday. Or maybe they are still thrown off thinking we are on some weird time zone.
