Went on line at 9 am our time and just could not get through on GDR so went to Olympia site and bought 2 on Mezzanine and we are not even sitting together. Could not get Alan his two as he is away on holiday so had to keep trying and could not get 2 in Mezzanine and had to get Alan two standing. Wonder if someone will swap their seat so I can sit by hubby. Roxy perhaps you have a seat near us. It says 04 12 & 04 06. Then I made a mistake must have paid extra for the tickets to be sent to us on one lot and the other two have to be collected. Give me strength.
What are the chances of this ....... I have 04 10 and 04 08!! So its me you will have to be nice to

I have just heard from a friend in the US and he has got two front row mezzanine at 10.25!!

Hi everyone,

Wow, that site (http://billetterie.gdp.fr) sure was hard to use. We jumped in when they went on sale and managed to get two seats, but had no idea where they were because we couldn't find a seating chart. We just went for the most expensive seats, assuming they were the best. Then, well after the tickets were purchased, we tried again and found what appear to be orchestra (standing room only) seats for less money. In the U.S., the closer you are, the more expensive the tickets!

Anyway, thanks for the seating chart info, "no shoes". I guess we made out ok, got Mezzanine row 2. Floor seats sure would have been nice, but hey -- any seats at a Buffett show in Paris will be great, right?

Spot on!
If this is your first Paris show - welcome to the 'club'

If you decide you want to stand, there will be plenty of tickets around on the day. One word of warning though - to be so close to the stage last year we could touch Jimmys feet  Karacal and DNW were in the queue at 05.45am

Thanks! It *is* my first Paris show, and also my first trip to Paris! We're really excited about it. If people are meeting up beforehand, it'd be fun to grab a drink or something, too.

Row 4, 39 and 41. Its crazy that they don't tell you your seat numbers until after you buy - and then don't even give you 2 together! Don't want them anyway so they will be on sale...!

What a stupid system it is. Think 39 & 41 may be seats next to each other as wehave 12 & 06 on 04 and Roxy has a similar number perhaps they number them odds and evens.

I think they should be next to each other as the system was warning you if they were not adjacent - in French of course!

I will look for a seat map later............

Yes it is Odds and evens....so if you have.... 39 and 41 they are side by side....same for 10 and 12....and so on......the trick is trying to figure out where the split is between odds and evens...!!!!

So like the rest we wound up with a hodge podge of seats ......... BUT we have seats!!!!! We have 1 at row 1 seat 65...in the corner on the left side of the stage, then 1 at row 2 seat 29, then 4 at row 11, seats 19,21,23,25....... which is the first row of the balcony.....

Wifey-poo got 1 at row 1 seat 43........ whew....!!!!!! glad that's over....I have a feeling that there are a lot of people with single tickets......wonder if we'll all be trading around to get next to our friends!!!........ :o :o :D :D :D :D

I ran the numbers from the seating charts and on the floor there appears to be 1764 standing "spots"......last I saw they were up to 1381 .......... looks like about 250 in the mezz and another 400 or so in the balcony.........looks like Jimmy is on his way to selling this one out.....

We wanted 6 tickets but could only get 4 at one time. We got 4 in mezzanine, row 4 then the next 2 were in balcony. Hubby then went on and got 2 on mezzanine but in row 2. If anyone wishes to buy 2 in row 12, which is really row 2 of the balcony (anyone confused yet???) then let me know.

The olympia site charges you $6 extra but posts them out, the other site says you pick them up at the venue. Why can't it all be the same!!!!!!

Do you think we will really have seat numbers? In London last year it was really "first come, first served".

So excited. Just to let you all know....................220 sleeps :D :D :D :D

I have to say that buying these tickets was a breeze compared to stateside. At least I hope so --- won't really find out until we go to pick them up. I chose the mid-range price and who sits at a Buffett concern anyway!!!

We are already going to Germany so the Paris thing just meant some reorganization. Life is such an adventure. I haven't been to Paris in 40 years and really never planned to go back even though the city looks so beautiful during the Tour d'France.

For any who have been before, were there any pre-concert activities? Will be happy to meet some Euro-parrotheads.

We are balcony row 12 seats 3 & 5. I guess the odd/even split occurs right in the center of the aisle or the chart is screwed up. I guess we'll see in September.

I booked through the olympia web site. I couldn't get GDP to give me a purchase option. Once I found the seat chart on the purchase page I just kept adding 2 more seats until it gave me 2 together, then deleted all the others. Most screwed up system I think I've ever used. Took me the better part of 45 minutes to get through all the crap.
But, we got tickets WOOHOO.

We had so much fun last year. Lufthansa has a 99 Euro flight. Now just need a hotel. Not the one from last year OMG, a new worst. The Jardin de Mont Marte has after many years, officially beat out the Island View Motel in Carrabelle Florida for the bottom honors.

As far as the assistance dog, double check on the USDA site. The EU rules aren't as stringent as some of the countries used be be individually. UK is still very strict. We brought 2 cats to Germany with us. They didn't need much more than standard shots & chips.

Marcus,

I think I will have spare tickets, I was given tickets to Paris last year by a couple wha could not make it so will see if they are coming over.

What I would like is to swap them for 2 Tampa tickets.

We ended up with two 1st row mezzanine after a bunch of failed attempts. Our first trip to Paris! I'm taking my wife for her birthday. We are also going to go experience Oktoberfest wilst we are there.

Double the money you think you will need and then triple it, Paris is a dear place to be. We paid 7euro for a pint of beer last year.
