Marcus, when I saw the Paris date on margaritaville.com I immediately thought of you and your wife, so I had to start this thread.

I flew to CT in November for the Mohegan Sun show. When I landed in Chicago to catch my flight to CT the Pilot of the plane helped me off the plane. He noticed that I was wearing a Margaritaville jacket and mentioned that he was a parrothead and that he went to the Paris show. I told him that a friend of mine was their and caught a flipflop with a fishing pole. The pilot told me that he saw the whole thing and it was cool.

That's a tough one, can't book the train until we know. Can we get the tickets via ticketnet as they will post to England. This all good news. See you in Tampa Roxanne.

Yes I have just received the official notificationfrom GDP. Do you think it will be standing downstairs and if we go in the balcony could we see enough? Now more problems upstairs or downstairs? Roxy if it is 10 am in France is it still 10am in the UK?

The Olympia is such a wonderful old place! It's where all the big names have played.
Will I be going? I wish our Parliamentary calendar were a bit more settled: whenever we think we'll have a break, we're working, and whenever we think we'll be working, we get delayed or prorogued! As it stands, Sept 24 is right at the end of the first week of sitting and it could be hard to get to Paris and back in a weekend....

Margaret - it is 9am in the UK!
Apparently they do take the seats out for 'rock' concerts, so I am tempted to go for upstairs this time....... Maybe I will do what Michelle did and buy both
Do you think Dutch will let us join him and his fishing rod on the balcony ???

Rox - Take your own fishing pole. Maybe you'll get the flip flop this time.

After all the standing around half the day and then in the show think my age is catching up with me so may go for the balcony. Alan is also going to be there so I am getting tickets for him too as he is away next week. The place looks fab and it is near to where we usually stay but may try a different hotel this year.

Am seriously considering the balcony this year - I cannot help thinking we would get a great view from there. Wonder if we might feel more out of it though.............. decision, decisions......
Am not going to book a hotel just yet - am hoping we might get a date earlier in the week for the New Morning
