Where will we park?

What time do the lots open?

Who's bringing the rum?

The usual spot.
Not sure yet. But I'll let you know where I parked.
I'll let you know as soon as they do.
I'll have some. That I'm sure about. 8)
where is the usual spot?
:-P
That all depends, Al's usual spot is claimed at 3:30am as he breaks into the parking lot or runs over whatever is barricading the enterence (including people) Or the rest of us whom Al graciously holds park spots for? (in return for the spots we help him hide the bodies he may of run over sneaking in)

Hi everyone, it's time to spin the big wheel and figure out what new venue we're going to check out this year and it looks like it's going to be Camden. I have a couple of questions and I'm looking for some advice. Any input would be appreciated.

From Google Maps, it looks like parking is fairly limited at the venue. Are there other lots around? The venue's website mentioned a cross-river shuttle. Is this a reliable way to get back to downtown Philly if we decide to stay there and not drive across the bridge or should we plan on finding a taxi?

Thanks in advance.

THere are numerous lots in the area. The lot they stick you in, depends on the time you show up & in which direction you're coming from. The lots closest to the venue are filled last. Close parking but you miss out on the fun. Watch this thread as the date gets closer, if you want to caravan in w/the group.

Sorry, don't know anything about the shuttle.

The RiverLink Ferry is the "shuttle" and they run all day and after the concert for a while. But the lines are usually pretty long to get onto one after the show.

There are lots of spots in the lots and since we arrive pretty early, we are in the FAR lot, but we have FAR more fun than those ariving later.

Thanks for the info and advice, everyone. I would love to tailgate as it would be close enough to drive up from Maryland with all the tailgating "stuff" and find a room in the area, but I do have to say I am always looking for that perfect venue where I can have fun and avoid getting behind the wheel. Vegas is as close as I've come in that respect. I'm assuming this isn't a place where they hassle you about drinking in the parking lot as long as you're not stupid about it, correct?

You are correct, no hassles.

Ditto.

The caravan usually leaves from the Crowne Plaza on Route 70 in Cherry Hill if you are researching rooms. The Holiday Inn also on 70 in Cherry Hill is also close by. Many people do stay in Philly and take the ferry over and attach to another tailgate group.
