We always stay somewhere on the Philly side and take the ferry over to the tailgating side sometime in the mid-afternoon. There are some great places to eat (and mostly drink) over there, but you just need to check the hours. Some of them don't open for lunch on Saturdays.PEI Parrothead wrote:Can't wait! This is only our second JB show for my wife and I and 2 keets. Travelling from Prince Edward Island, Canada. Got my tickets in section 200, got my hotel room close by, can't wait. Any ideas for pre-show eats on the Philly side, within walking distance? We'd love to do the tailgate, but with an 11-year old and 14-year old, probably not a great idea.
I'll be doing some "that" side of the river research as it gets closer if you want to check back with me.

Re: Who's going to Camden, Saturday - 08.07.10?
Does anybody have a trailer? We could put it on a trailer and that way we would know it would be where we are. Unless they would give us permission to place it somewhere where we would be able to set up. BUT we all know that would take too much sense. If they would do that for us I would spring for a decent size tent!

There are somw junkie one's for $1500 on there, at least we'd have our own potty. We are looking to rent one, I checked it out, they have a 3 day min. and it would be $470.00 for their larger model that sleeps 7, has a full kitchen, shower, bathroom, ect. The cheaper one that sleeps 5 was $417.00. We are also looking into a buss with a driver.7vegas11 wrote:You talking "buy" or "rent"???Seas in my veins wrote:Anyone wanna chip in and by an RV off of craigslist?

Re: Who's going to Camden, Saturday - 08.07.10?
I'll be getting there late for the Saturday show (down North Wildwood from 07/31 to 08/07); but hope to be there by early afternoon. But I will definitely be with the caravan on Tuesday.Seas in my veins wrote:There are somw junkie one's for $1500 on there, at least we'd have our own potty. Re: Who's going to Camden, Saturday - 08.07.10?
I think that the last 5 rows in 200 and the last 5 in 204 are always cheaper than the rest of the LOGE. If you go into TM, and put the Price at $36, the location gives you 2 choices: LOGE or LAWN. I just put in the amount, and hit BEST AVAILABLE.rumdrinks wrote:Gotta ask how did you get section 204 for only $36 ????7vegas11 wrote:Wore my LUCKY Shirt today,

I never knew that........we have a group of 16 ....so it is easier to just get lawn and everyone can sit together....but I'll have to remember that for future reference....
