Great, does someone have a chart that shows where the rows for the risers that hold up the stage are? (that might explain how I always get the seat that really does me no good because I cannot get out easily )

you can say that again! it sure has been a LOOONNGG winter.

I am now wondering about possible guest artists that may appear on stage with Jimmy this year...since there is Country USA and Summerfest going on that week too. Guess "only time will tell"

At least we have less time this year to have to count down for Alpine....heck, the next 118 days will go by in a flash

Booked a room at Lake Lawn Resort, same as last year with two differences...

Hopefully the road construction is now completed on state road 20 (road into Lake Geneva)
This time going with "climate control" room (might cost a little extra, but will DEFINITELY beat the stand up a/c - Heating unit in the "older" rooms...last year I was afraid to turn ON the heat because I didn't know if I'd end up dying from CO poisoning )

Now all I need is a ticket to Hemingways and I'm set

I actually hoping it'll be warmer than that by late June (I guess it really depends on what type of fronts we get this year, but last year was uncharacteristically cool )

There's a huge country and western show going on in OsKosh several days prior to Jimmy's show. In fact, June 26th is the last day of the country fest. I heard on the radio today that the Zac Brown Band will be there. If they were to happen to play on Friday night maybe they'd stick around and make a guest appearance....................

There's a huge country and western show going on in OsKosh several days prior to Jimmy's show. In fact, June 26th is the last day of the country fest. Don't know if this has been posted before but if you do not have a ticket you will not get in the parking lot this year. The campground I am staying at said the lot is going to open at 10 this year.

I think I said that previously, how are they going to stop and check everyone's ticket?
That said I could see something where the cops might go walking around the tailgate and anyone that doesn't have a ticket will be asked to leave the grounds (that would be easier to enforce...)

That would DEFINITELY be sweet! I can't wait to get back state side and head to yet another show. It would be even better if ZBB showed as well! I will have only been in the country for 2 days (roughly) before the show, so hopefully the time change won't kill me too bad! I'm a bit bummed though that I won't be nearly as well prepared for tailgating as years passed - I got rid of most of my stuff when I moved and don't have a hell of a lot left to bring. I'll have beer (and hopefully burgers), and I would also like to catch up with some of you guys from this thread if at all possible. How does that generally work? I have never met anyone from BN before.

Not sure how that could be effective in reality. The cops there are barely able to keep people from peein on the back fences, much less patroling the crowd.
