Who's going to Alpine Valley - June 26th 2010

I just got an update from LiveNation that the Zac Brown Band will be appearing with Dave Matthews at Alpine on July 3 & 4 - that would be a majorly sweet concert too. I did some checking around and on Zac Browns website he isn't shown as appearing anywhere else with Dave Matthews from mid June till July 3rd, but they don't even have him listed as appearing at the Country Fest yet either. If he is touring with Dave Matthews then he'll be in Ohio on the 25th meaning he'd probably be appearing at Country Fest on the 26th. They don't have the official line up for Country Fest on their website with their date of appearances yet but I'll keep checking back. I love playing detective!!! ~^~

Prewelcome back! I remember seeing Buffett News nametags that you could print off to help identify each other on this thread last year. It's probably still on the list somewhere. Also, those who'd like to meet up somewhere could probably PM each other and make plans.
I'm working on Jello Shot recipes for the "practice parties" we're going to have and for tailgating. Going to try out Sweet Tea and Arnold Palmers this weekend. ~^~

I thought I saw that the zbb was at Country USA in Oshkosh the tuesday before the Buffett concert.

You could be right. I just heard an ad on the radio that they would be appearing at the Country Fest - not which night. I checked it out on the official website but they haven't listed the day and time for each act yet. I was just making a hopeful (!) guess.

so excited that i will be starting and ending summer with jimmy this year!!! wooooohoooooo!! been forever since I could do 2 shows, but I really wanted to get back to the lawn. I personally love the lawn people!!! we know how to truly keep the party goin! any other lawn people out there?

I gave up lawn years ago. No more fighting to nest on the hill for this bird. I can move and groove with the best of them, but at my age, I need a flat, concrete surface in which to do it!

According to AccuWeather, the high temp on 08/29/09 was 61. The expected high this Monday is 60. Isn't it funny how awesome 60 degrees feels in March?

BTW... tickets arrived safely in my mail box yesterday!

Tickets arrived... both lawn AND pavilion. (Lawns came up first, then somebody must have let go of the pavilions - persistence pays off.)

Sooo - anybody need 3 lawns? @cost? PM me. Already posted in ticket exchange, no nibbles. Next stop - EBay.

At least in this area it's pretty "warm" (well relatively anyway... was actually warmer today than it was in alpine )

My college-age keet called last night to let me know her roomie got her a lawn ticket. Now she's asking to be flown to Milwaukee from DC. I let her know that when you fly to see Jimmy, you are a parrothead....... She's no longer denies it......
