DID ANYONE EVER HEAR OF SUMMERFEST! THIS WAS THE WORSE WEEKEND THAT JIMMY COULD HAVE COME - WEEK BEFORE HOLIDAY WHEN EVERYONE HAS PLANS TO GO OUT OF TOWN, BREWERS IN TOWN, SUMMERFEST IN TOWN AND COUNTRYFEST - HE HAD TO COMPETE WITH ZACH BROWN, BREWERS -TIM MCGRAW - ERIC CLAPTON- LADY A- TOM PETTY ETC.ETC.
BUT ALPINE IS PUSHING PEOPLE AWAY WE HAVE GONE 8 YEARS IN A ROW - THEY ARE DRIVING PRICES UP $13 FOR A BEER - $20 TO PARK EARLY AFTER THEY TOLD EVERYONE THEY COULD NOT GET IN UNTIL 3:00 THEN THEY LET PEOPLE IN AT 11:00

So.....Margaritaville.com has a video of Bret Micheals singing Margaritaville onstage and it is labeled "at Alpine Valley". Funny, I don't remember that guest appearance and really didn't have THAT much to drink.
It was from the Detroit show.

Where did you pay $13 for a beer? We were told $9.00 and chose to use the drinking fountains instead. Glad we drank before and after instead
