Woooo Hooooo - got my tickets! My son kept texting me from his phisiology class "any news yet?" while I waited. Just lawn seats but got a bunch of virgins coming along this year to see what it's all about and to help me celebrate my upcoming 50th! Should be a great time. Now we've just got to find a place to stay. [smilie=hiya.gif] [smilie=hiya.gif]

Were people in the WI area able to get tickets at retail outlets?
    NO

Because the TM retail outlets screwed everyone and weren't selling. All the people who make an event out of ticket lottery day got screwed.

Side note: I no longer have credit cards....so I can't order on line or over the phone.

I'm sure pi$$ed TM didn't make it known that they weren't selling these through TM outlets. I was the only person in the location I go to. At 10:00 sharp the customer service manager hit "buy", and nothing happened. She phoned TM and thats when I found out. What jackoffs at TM. I still got through on the phone and did ok. Between 6 people in our group, we did get enough pavillion, but they're spread all over the place.

If anyone is interested in trading seats, so we can both be closer to people we came to sit with in the first place, PM me and I'll let you know where our seats are and maybe we can work something out.

I can't believe you can still pull up 6 lawns on Livenation/Ticketmaster at 7:15 PM. Crazy. If anyone needs tickets the lawn hasn't sold out yet!

Got a ticket for the concert... Row S section 201 seat 95 (not sure if this is a good seat or not. but it might be better than last year where I just happened to have one of the seats in the row where the support beam happened to block my exit....)

Now I just need a hotel and i'm all set :)

Seriously though, how hard would it have been for TM or LN to say something on the website or email updates about the tickets not being available at outlets? Horrible customer service! But what do you expect...

I'm wondering also because a friend and I were able to get 6 each at 1 CST!! Normally, they are all gone 15 minutes after they go on sale.... Did the ticket brokers not realize they went on sale today??

pretty sure it is because the retail stores were not selling... all the people in lines to get tickets got shut out.... only phone or internet sales were allowed....

Sorry to hear that some of you were shut out at the TM outlets - that really stinks. [smilie=sadlook.gif]

I'm pretty confidant you'll find seats around face value before the show (I'll keep an eye out for extras). Keep in mind last year Live Nation released a bunch of seats about a month before the show. I was able to get front row and Jimmy wore my cheese head!

Sorry about what happened at the retail outlets guys. Friends kept calling during the day to add to our group and they were still getting lawn seats at 5:45 CST!

Thrilled to say I am going to be able to hit 2 shows this year! Have only been able to do that once before. Got lawn seats for Alpine and I'm looking forward to getting my feet in the grass again. Haven't been to Alpine since 1989....... sure this will be a great experience. WOOHOO! :wench:

Yep....it's 9:45 PM CST and you can still pull up blocks of 6 lawn seats. Only single pavillions though.

Which would be useful if I had a credit card. I'm a cash only guy these days....that's why I stood in line and wasted my time.

I just checked and there are still lawn seats available? What's going on here? I've never seen tickets still available 24 hours after they went on sale. Very strange.

I think the fact that everything had to bought online and He's going up against Country Fest are the main factors. I'm guessing not as many youngin's are going to be around due to Country Fest

Between Countryfest in Cadott, Summerfest in Milwaukee and Jimmy in East Troy, the Wisconsin beer distributors had better start stocking up now!!!!!!

And yes, these other big events may have something to do with Alpine not selling out in the usual 7 or 8 minutes.
